First Timer...

Hi there!
  So..I'm new to this whole bloggin' thing..but I'm also new to the city..   so I figured it's a good match! haha We shall see.. 


  A little about me : )  I'm 25..born and raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Salisbury to be exact..that's 30 minutes away for all you Western Marylanders...for some reason that's the only place anyone knows over here! Oh yea.."here". I just moved to DC after growing up on the shore..going to college on the shore..and oh yea.. starting my career on the shore! Well, I must have been doing something right because they hired me over here in this new world I know nothing of. 
  I moved here one month ago today! Yay me!! I work in TV and now I work in TV in DC! I simply couldn't be happier about it! I love it here..but seriously..can you believe that I still haven't ventured out too far.. I mean, I know my neighborhood..and I've done the tourist thing in DC..but other then that.. I'm a lost pup!
  A girl at work asked if I had tried this awesome pizza place down the street from the station... but because it's in the OPPOSITE direction of my way to work..I've never heard or even seen this place?! Does anyone know what Pete's Pizza is? It better be good for me to finally realize I'm living in a routine shell! My new goal...travel past my work one day..and browse the shops/eats/whatever! 
  So..yea..I'm a bit of a fish out of water..and while that sounds horrible..I'm still having the time of my life! I've taken on a whole new world!!! No more chicken poo smells..no more mullets..no more farm land farther than the eye can see..and no more small town bull crappy!! 
  This post may be a bit..amateur..but oh well..I'll get better.. I mean..it's DC for crying out loud! Things are going to happen ; )


ps~What's this U-Street...and why haven't I found it yet?! j/k..it's on my short-term bucket list lol
